The calculation here is easy. Fewer batteries mean lower costs. This also reduces weight. This makes stop-and-go traffic more efficient. However, your ability to take spontaneous road trips is limited. If you leave the city, you need to plan for a charging stop.
Is 308 km enough? Think about your longest trip this week. Multiply this by two to get the round trip. Add a safety buffer. If the numbers are in this range, reducing the battery makes sense. If you exceed this limit regularly, you may need a larger battery.
Autonomie Comfort interior: Collection and pricing reality
The Autonomie Confort equipment is updated to a 52 kWh battery. This capacity means a WLTP range of up to 409 kilometers on a single charge. If you often drive long distances on the road, this is a sensible choice. Entrance fees start at 33,490 euros.
EcoBonus eligibility for 2025 remains unchanged here. You can also use the French brand CEE Prime. This is not just a theory. It works directly with this configuration.
The trims that define the R4 electric experience
With Renault, you don’t have to guess the class. 4 The E-Tech Electric series follows the brand’s traditional naming convention. This differs from the cryptic alphanumeric codes used by some competitors.
The entry-level Evolution upholstery is the most flexible. There are two power transmissions to choose from. Choose a 120 horsepower unit or upgrade to 150 horsepower. Both options are under the same roof.
Higher trims remove this possibility. The Techno and Iconic versions only have more powerful engines. These are only combined with a 52 kWh battery.
